The RCMP have executed a search warrant at a home in Pinkney’s Point in relation to a fatal house fire that took place in the area last week.
The Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit executed the warrant last night in an effort to gather evidence and information related to the fatal fire.
No arrests were made but police say two people were detained during the search and later released.
The RCMP are also addressing rumors related to the fire. They say they have positively identified the victim and they were not connected to the Mucktown Girl crew.
