The mayor of the Town of Shelburne is getting a second term in office.
Karen Mattatall got 505 votes, good enough to secure another four years in the mayor’s chair.
Her opponents, P.G. Comeau had 266 votes while Roy O’Donnell had 169 votes.
Mattatall says she’s pleased with the results.
“I feel very priviledged to have the honour to represent the people in Shelburne and I’m very pleased that they felt I was worthy of their support.”
Meanwhile, incumbent Rick Davis returns to council along with newcomers Harold Locke, Sheldon Ringer and Nolan Young.
