Somebody could walk out of the West Pubnico Legion with over $330,000.
That’s the estimated jackpot for tonight’s Chase the Ace draw.
The weekly event has raised thousands for the legion, and has branched out to seven locations for ticket sales.
Organizer Jean-Bernard d’Entremont says the last two draws have shown slower growth.
“It gives us an opportunity to manage it and I think we;re doing a good job managing it. It’s growing but not to rapidly.”
He says the one-hundred plus volunteers need to be commended.
“Some of these people are giving two evenings a week of their time and its very gratifying for us to see that.”
20 cards remain in the deck and the ace is still hidden.
Last week, the winner took home over $26,000 as a consolation prize.
Tickets are sold from 7-9pm each Friday.
