When it comes to TV Characters I was never a fan of Barney the Dinosaur , guess it’s because I was no longer a kid or really did care for the Voice or Character itself .
There were millions of children that did though , to this day there are many fans and parents who stream Barney for their kids.
NBCUniversal-owned streaming service Peacock is prepping a a three-part documentary from Scout Productions about Barney the Dinosaur, scheduled to premiere next year.
The documentary covers the children’s TV character’s trajectory and rise in popularity, and how it then became a target of “hate and rage.” The series will include exclusive interviews and archival footage, and offer a first-hand account of the Barney phenomenon from cast, crew and its outspoken critics.
