The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education says a hold and secure was held at Shelburne Regional High School this afternoon.
They say it was a precautionary measure due to an incident in the area.
The RCMP were called to respond and access in and out of the building was restricted.
TCRCE says everyone is safe and the school is secure.
They say classes continued as normal during the hold and secure and students will be dismissed on time.
