A female passenger in a vehicle travelling on Highway 103 in Yarmouth County yesterday, has died following a two-vehicle collision.
RCMP at the scene told CJLS News the collision happened at the intersection of the Eel Lake Road around 4:15 p.m.
The occupants of both vehicles were transported to hospital by EHS with serious injuries.
The RCMP say the female passenger in one of the vehicles was transported by EHS to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The age of the woman was not provided, and police have not released her name.
The conditions of the other people are not known.
An accident re-construction analyst was called to the scene to investigate.
RCMP, EHS, Eel Brook and Lake Vaughan fire departments and the Department of Transportation were on scene.
