A two vehicle accident this afternoon on Highway 103 in Yarmouth County.
Just before 4:30, a small four door car and a pickup truck collided at the intersection of the 103 and the Eel Lake Road.
RCMP on scene tell Acadia News there were two occupants in each vehicle.
All are being treated by EHS, one is reportedly in critical condition.
The vehicles sustained significant damage.
Traffic in the area has slowed, and those coming from Yarmouth are being turned around at the Tusket interchange.
Traffic is being allowed onto the Eel Lake Road in the other direction.
Local fire departments are also on scene, including Yarmouth, Eel Brook and Lake Vaughan, as well as TIR.
UPDATE AT 5:40pm* Acadia News has been advised that an accident re-construction analyst has been called in to investigate the scene. Traffic will continue to be diverted at the Tusket interchange and the Eel Lake Road.
