RCMP is investigating after a man was found dead on the rocks at the waterfront in Cape Forchu.
Police got the call on Saturday about the incident on Thomas Road.
The preliminary investigation appears that a rope used to access the waterfront area from a steep hill tied to a tree broke causing the man to fall.
The victim a 68-year-old man from Cape Forchu was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation continues, criminality is not suspected.
