Don’t expect COVID-19 case updates seven days a week.
The province is scaling back its COVID updates across the board.
We will no longer see new case numbers on Saturday and Sunday.
Additionally, the dashboard which contains more detailed information such as the location of cases won’t be updated on the weekend either.
All of the data will be updated on Monday and will include the numbers from the weekend.
Meantime, Doctor Robert Strang told reporters on Friday he will no longer hold provincial briefings unless there is a spike in cases.
Presently, there are 11 active infections in the entire province.
