Ever hear of Christopher Ward? Many know him as one of the original VJs on MuchMusic back in the day. He’s also a talented singer, and an amazing songwriter.
One of his best known songs is “Black Velvet, a huge international hit for Alannah Myles. He has written songs for everyone from Hilary Duff and Diana Ross, to the Backstreet Boys, Peter Cetera, and Anne Murray.
He has a new album coming out called Same River Twice.
In promoting the album he’s been doing a bunch of virtual videos. One of the things he just did is a Songwriters Master Class in which he talks a lot about his writing, and how to develop your own style.
