The country is poised to receive another major shipment of COVID-19 vaccines this week.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is drawing attention to the 300,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson Janssen doses that will arrive in the coming days, adding others will be coming soon after.
“Pfizer alone will deliver two million doses a week starting next week, and we’ll continue to work hard with manufacturers to deliver a stable and growing supply of doses,” Trudeau says.
Federal officials note the Janssen vaccines we are receiving don’t come from a US facility that came under the microscope for quality concerns.
