
A new case of COVID-19 is being reported in the Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby community health network.
It was one of two cases reported in the Western Zone today. The origin of the case was not stated by the province.
At today’s COVID-19 briefing, Chief Medical Officer of Health Doctor Robert Strang said they have not seen any confirmed signs of community spread outside of the Central Zone.
The province says the Eastern, Northern and Western Zones continue to be closely monitored for community spread.
There are now four active cases of COVID-19 in the Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby community health network and 263 known active cases across the province.
