A fresh look is coming for the NSCC Lunenburg campus in Bridgewater.
The campus will receive $5.1 million to update the building’s exterior walls.
Funding will be split with $2 million coming federally and $3.1 million from provincial government.

The renovation will not only increase heating efficiency but will also bring the look of the campus in line with other NSCC campuses.
Principal Craig Collins is excited for the change.
“It’s a wonderful shot in the arm and a boost of confidence to say hey, the work that you’re doing is important and we want you to have the best facilities possible and this is one component to help support that.”
Collins says the fresh look will allow people outside the campus to see the spirit within the school.
“The amazing things that we do inside the building will be reflected by the amazing look and the perception of being a top notch post-secondary institution so we’re very excited.”
Collins says the timeline is tight but he expects work to be completed within 18 months.
