A motorcyclist is in hospital in Halifax following a collision with a deer in Queens County yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
RCMP say it was just before 5 o’clock, around 4:45pm, when they received a 911 call regarding a crash on Highway 208 at Frank Lake, roughly 48 kms north of Liverpool.
The driver of the motorcycle, who has not been identified, was airlifted by EHS LifeFlight to hospital in Halifax with serious injuries.
The condition of the driver remains unknown at this time.
The accident prompted police to re-route traffic in the area for several hours.
