Firefighters from the Yarmouth Fire Department responded to a fire on Argyle Street last night.
At 9:39 p.m. firefighters responded to a fire on the second floor of a home on Argyle street.
Firefighters from the Port Maitland fire department were also on scene.
The home was unoccupied at the time, crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire on the second floor.
Acting fire chief Mike Deveau says that they were able to contact the residents after the incident.
