Three schools in Shelburne County are closing this morning at 9:30 due to a power outage.
The schools are: Forest Ridge Academy, ERMES and Clark’s Harbour Elementary.
The schools are among just over 3900 Nova Scotia Power customers still without service since early this morning.
The affected areas include Barrington and Shag Harbour.
NSP estimates service to be restored at 10:30am.
The utility says the outage was caused by damage to transmission equipment.
