A one million dollar cash injection for a large employer in the Municipality of the District of Yarmouth.
The federal government, through ACOA , has announced a non-repayable contribution of a million bucks for upgrades to the former web.com building in the Hebron Business Park.
The Municipality of the District of Yarmouth is matching those funds.
West Nova Conservative MP Chris d’Entremont says it’s good news for the local economy.
“It’s good for the area when we have some economic development going on that’s not connected to the fishery,” he explained. “I think this investment with the previous investment from the province and the Municipality will continue to support an extra 100 jobs, maybe a couple hundred jobs.”
The facility is now occupied by Millennium1 Solutions.
