A 36 year old man is facing weapons-related charges following an incident at a Starrs Road business on Tuesday.
RCMP say officers responded to a call of a man with a gun at a business a little after 3:30 in the afternoon.
Police say he was apprehended within minutes, and a pellet BB handgun was seized from his waistband.
He was taken into custody without incident.
The man was released from custody and was charged with Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
He’s due in Yarmouth Provincial Court on March 1.
No names have been released.
