The province announced six new cases of COVID-19 over a two day span.
Two cases were reported from January 3rd, one in Western Zone related to travel outside Atlantic Canada, and one in Eastern Zone under investigation.
Today, four cases were reported in Central zone with two under investigation. One is connected to travel, while the other is a close contact of a previous case.
None of the cases are connected to previously reported cases at Churchill Academy, and Public Health has been in contact with the school’s community. Testing for all staff and students has been arranged.
The province currently has 27 active cases.
