Yarmouth Town RCMP have released the name of a man facing an assault charge, after he allegedly grabbed a teenage girl this week.
24 year old Kevin Gerald Shaun Clayton of Yarmouth was arrested Tuesday after a complaint was filed early Monday evening.
A 13 year old girl was walking her dog on Parade Street near Central School when a man approached her.
Police say the girl reported the man grabbed her by the wrist after asking her personal questions and inviting her back to his place.
She then kicked him, ran away, and police were called.
The man was released with a number of conditions, and will next appear in court October 25 in Yarmouth.
