The Department of Health and Wellness is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.
Officials say the new cases are all in the Central Zone and only one is under investigation, the province now has 71 total active infections.
Meanwhile, the province has extended remote care options available through telephone, telehealth network, or videoconferencing.
Health and Wellness officials say physicians’ payment codes for the service have been extended, it is still possible to book a virtual appointment with a doctor until March 31.
Premier Stephen McNeil says it will become permanent, but officials are still working out the details of exactly how and when.
