The province has given the green light to Health Canada’s COVID Alert App.
Department of Health and Wellness officials say you can download it Thursday.
They say, if you have spent at least 15 minutes within 6 feet of someone else with the app who tests positive, the app will send a notification saying you may have been exposed.
Officials say it uses Bluetooth and doesn’t track personal information.
Meanwhile, no new cases were reported Wednesday.
That makes five days without a new positive test.
The province has dropped to three active infections and one person in the ICU.
