The 14-year-old girl who was reported missing from Eskasoni has been located by police and is safe.
RCMP say on Friday night at 11:30 their air services team reported a fire in an isolated location in the Canoe Lake area.
Police say officers on the ground made their way to the area at 1 a.m.
They say the missing girl was located and the man she was believed to be with.
Both were taken into police custody without incident and transported out of the wooded area.
RCMP say Molly Martin has been released and Darcy Doyle remains in custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
