Teams from our area competed at the 2018 Slo-Pitch Nationals in Newfoundland over the weekend.
The co-ed team Yarmouth Astros won their division, defeating the Bomb Squad from Pictou 7-6 in the championship game.
The Astros went undefeated on their way to the title.
Men’s team ‘Sudden Impact’ finished fifth out of 16 teams, losing 11-8 to Quebec in their fourth game on the final day.
