It’s Bubble Day! Honestly, I never though I’d ever say that term…..
But here we are, slowly beginning to open up as we continue to deal with a Pandemic.

That photo doesn’t show Newfoundland, but of course the Bubble includes Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland.
Now if you are planning a cross border adventure, don’t forget to have proper ID before trying to cross into one of the other provinces.
That includes a drivers’ licence, government identification card, health card, or a utility bill or bank statement with a valid Atlantic Canadian address.
Acceptable proof of residency can include: a utility bill, a bank statement or void cheque with address, mortgage documents, a property tax bill, personal income taxes, a residential lease signed by both the tenant and landlord, employment confirmation or pay stub, or social assistance benefit confirmation.
If you’re headed to New Brunswick you will be screened for COVID-19. You’ll have to answer questions about possible symptoms of the respiratory disease, contact with anyone who may have been ill, and recent travel history.
So here’s the Question:
Will YOU go anywhere? And if so, where?
In Newfoundland a petition asking to close the border got 15,000 signatures.
But a recent survey here at home showed people excited for the Bubble. And when the borders opened this morning, hundreds lined up.
Are you looking forward to it?
