Tomorrow is Canada’s Birthday! It’s Canada Day and this year as per usual this year things will be a lot different! Celebrations are looking very different and traditions might have to be changed or dropped all together this year! That’s OK though hopefully it will be better next year!
I think Canada is one of the best countries in the world. We are pretty lucky to live in such a beautiful, relatively safe and relatively fair place! However we also have a lot of issues that we have to continue to work on, like every other country! Our Canadian past is also a little sketchy at points but hopefully in the future we will be able to move on and work on reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and other minorities who are continuing to struggle from the actions of our ancestors.
There are also however a lot of great things about our past. We have been on the forefront of wars and world relations! We have also been a leader in peace around the world. Canada has also been a hot spot for innovation! We invented the telephone, the short range radio and even peanut butter along with countless other things!
