It’s now ten days in a row without a positive COVID-19 test result in Nova Scotia.
With 543 tests completed at the QEII Health Sciences Centre’s microbiology lab yesterday, that puts the number of negative results at 50,540, while the number of positive cases remains at 1061, with 62 deaths.
Although two people are still in the hospital, one of those in the ICU, one of them is considered resolved now, meaning there is now only one active COVID-19 case, with 998 resolved cases.
The Premier says he is “very encouraged” by the results but urges Nova Scotians to remain vigilant as more of the province’s retrictions are loosened.
