There has been another day with no positive COVID-19 infections identified, making six consecutive days in Nova Scotia.
Overall, we have had 1061 positive cases, 49,100 negative results, and 62 deaths.
The Department of Health and Wellness says there are three active cases in the province, none in long-term care homes, and two people remain in the hospital, one of them in Intensive Care.
The department says 996 cases are now considered resolved.
With these numbers looking good, regulated visitations have begun at long-term care homes and Community Services residential homes and some daycare centres have begun to open.
Visitors have to schedule the visits and follow all Public Health protocols as well as any additional rules set out by each individual facility.
