The province confirmed another COVID-19 related death on Saturday.
That brings the total number of deaths in Nova Scotia to 60.
Officials say the death occurred at the Northwood long-term care home in Halifax.
Nova Scotia also confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in the Central Zone bringing the provincial total to 1,056.
Seven individuals are currently in hospital, including two in the ICU.
The QEII Health Sciences Centre microbiology lab completed 694 tests on Friday and is operating 24-hours a day.
Nova Scotia has 41,391 negative test results and 978 individuals have now recovered and their cases of COVID-19 are considered resolved.
