There have now been 1026 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, after two more were identified yesterday.
The province has also had 35,004 negative test results, while 909 people have recovered and nine people are currently in the hospital, four of them in Intensive Care.
There have been fifty-one COVID-19 related deaths in the province, with the Northwood long-term care home in Halifax being the site of forty-four of them.
The number of confirmed cases at that facility has dropped significantly and there are now only twenty-seven residents and fifteen staff at Northwood with active cases, while two other facilities each have one case with a resident at one and a staff member at the other.
