When you are locked down in this technological era and it’s prom time, you go virtual.
That’s the idea behind the “Prom Is On” Virtual Prom 2020.
Par en Bas student council president Nicholas d’Entrement is one of three representatives in the province.
He says the live streamed event is to let graduating students celebrate together while apart.
“For every student that joins, a donation will be made to Kids Help Phone,” he explained. “With many students feeling lonely and isolated and disappointed, now is the perfect time to come together to support mental health initatives and mental health awareness.”
Grade twelve students can register at promison2020.com right up to the day of the event on May 22nd.
