A Nova Scotian brand of coleslaws is being recalled due to a risk of Listeria.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled certain packages of Randsland brand Classic Coleslaw and Broccoli Slaw due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
No illnesses have been reported as a part of this recall.
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick so it’s recommended you throw out the recalled products or return them to the store you purchased them from.
Symptoms of Listeria can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
