The province with another grim update on the COVID-19 sitation in an HRM nursing home.
Six additional deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported at the Northwood long-term care home.
A total of 37 people have died due to the virus in the province.
Eight new cases were identified on Saturday, bringing the total to 971 in the province.
624 individuals have now recovered and their cases are considered resolved.
The Premier says he’s asking all Nova Scotians to help keep COVID-19 out of our long-term care facilities and our communities by continuing to follow the public health directives.
Late last week, some provincial restrictions were lifted, allowing people to enjoy some provincial and municipal parks, trails, beaches and other outdoor activities – provided that they continue to use physical distancing.
