A Yarmouth aesthetician is a finalist for an industry award.
Cindy Hinde-Saulnier, the owner of Aspire Esthetics, is up for the Cosmetic Industry Alliance COSA Award.
She says she was elated when she found out.
“It’s called the Customer Outstanding Service Award. It’s always been something geared towards more retailing but in the last couple of years they’ve incorporated a spa category.”
Hinde-Saulnier says she was honoured to have been nominated and then to find out that she is one of three finalists across Canada in the Best Service by a Skincare Therapist.
Her clients will play a role in the judging process.
“They’re actually helping me because in this next stage, they rely on client recommendations on having them fill out a form that was sent to me with their experiences that they can judge based on that.”
They received approximately 1200 nominations for 19 categories.
This year’s Gala will be held in Toronto in November.
Hinde-Saulnier also been nominated for a 2018 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award.
