
Government officials took a break from the daily COVID-19 webcasts over the weekend.
The province did continue to update statistics.
There are 445 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province as of Sunday – seventeen of those new cases were identified on Saturday.
Two people have died due to the virus, and nine people are in hospital.
97 people have now recovered and their cases of COVID-19 are considered resolved.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority’s Western Zone, which encompasses the entire Tri-Counties and beyond, is reporting 45 cases.
Testing has also been expanded.
