The Municipality of the District of Argyle Council has agreed to attend the discussions about consolidating Yarmouth County governments.
Warden Danny Muise says they have not committed to anything other than listening to what the others have to say and see how they can improve existing agreements.
“It’s just working together, and to come up with some kind of a solution that will work so that we can work together and get decisions made a lot easier than what we’re getting now,” he explained. “It’s getting more and more complex for sure,to try and get anything done in the regional services that we’re providing now.”
The province will supply a facilitator for the meeting.
All three municipal governments are pointing out that that have not committed to anything other than to take part in the discussions.
