Voters head to the polls today in the ridings of Argyle-Barrington, Northside-Westmount and Sydney River-Mira-Louisbourg in Cape Breton.
The ridings were formerly held by Chris d’Entremont, Eddie Orrell and Alfie MacLeod respectively.
All three resigned last month and have won nominations to run for the Conservatives in this fall’s federal election.
The candidates running in Argyle-Barrington are Charlene LeBlanc of the Liberal’s Party, Colton LeBlanc of the PCs Adam Randall for the Green’s and Robin Smith of the NDP.
Polls open at 8 a.m. and close at 8 pm.
