A highway exit in Yarmouth County is one of the most dangerous intersections in the province.
Argyle-Barrington MLA Chris d’Entremont says the government identified Exit 32 on Highway 103 as the third most dangerous in a study done about three years ago.
He tells CJLS News that people are still waiting for the province to do something.
d’Entremont says “It really has to do that. It’s a flat intersection, there is no acceleration lane coming out of Argyle, and it’s very confusing when you have the two exits, which is the Argyle exit and the Nakile exit that don’t line up.”
Transportation Minister Lloyd Hines responded in the House that the province is doing significant work on twinning highways.
d’Entremont says that was not an acceptable answer given that all the twinning is focused on highways well past Yarmouth County.
