It’s on Monday September 2nd.
Lynette Hayward-Byrd of the South West Labour Group says it’s about celebrating workers and the community they live in.
“Especially for unionized workers. It’s a family event, it’s free. The unions contribute to it. We like to give back to the community.”
The Labour Day event runs from 11 to 2 and includes speakers, BBQ, musical entertainment and children’s games.
