One of three people accused of committing an attack on a Yarmouth teenager has pleaded guilty to two of the charges.
Trey (Jadelyn) Rhyno had entered guilty pleas to charges of assault causing bodily harm and forcible confinement.
Sentencing was originally scheduled for July 23, but the defence and Crown asked for an adjournment to prepare a Gladue report and a pre-sentence report.
A Gladue report considers the sentencing of an offender of Aboriginal background under the Criminal Code.
The sentencing has now been slated for September 3, if the Gladue report is ready.
Rhyno was charged in an incident in early January in which a Yarmouth teen was picked up in a vehicle, and then, according to the RCMP and evidence presented in court, was taken to several locations and beaten, threatened and held against her will until she was eventually able to escape.
Two co-accused will appear in court later this month.
Ashley Comeau is scheduled to appear August 26 for election and plea.
A court appearance for Danesha (Dan-EEsha) Russell is listed as August 19 for a hearing to set a date for trial.
