Eastlink phone and internet service was out for several hours Thursday in many parts of the Yarmouth area.
In an email to our newsroom yesterday, the company says a “third party” truck hooked a fibre line along the airport stretch as it drove away, ripping up the line.
Eastlink crews worked for several hours to repair the damage.
