Colton LeBlanc won the Progressive Conservative nomination for the provincial riding of Argyle-Barrington Thursday night.
He will run as the party’s candidate in an upcoming byelection.
LeBlanc thanked current MLA Chris d’Entremont for representing the riding for the past 15 years.
“I would like to thank current MLA Chris d”Entremont for representing our area and working on behalf of our interests so well for 15 years,” says LeBlanc. “To the people of Argyle-Barrington, I will continue Chris’ legacy by working hard for the people in this area.”
LeBlanc says PC leader Tim Houston is focused on making life better for residents in Argyle-Barrington.
“I’m proud to be represent the Progressive Conservative Party led by Tim Houston. He is someone who listens to people and wants to work with them,” says LeBlanc. “Hospital closures and doctor vacancies are at an all time high and the Liberal government refuses to admit there’s a crisis in healthcare. We need an MLA who will build solid recruitment strategies and work with our communities. Voting PC in this by-election is the only way to ensure we have an MLA fighting for better healthcare in Argyle-Barrington.”
Houston says LeBlanc has the passion, drive and the commitment to represent the people of Argyle-Barrington.
“Colton’s first hand knowledge and experience with the healthcare system will be an asset around the Caucus table,” says Houston. “He is an experienced first responder who will fight for better healthcare for Argyle-Barrington”.
