The Yarmouth Jr. A Mariners will play for the Canadian Tire Cup!
The Mariners dominated the South Shore Lumberjacks 7-1 to win the MHL’s Best-of-7 Eastlink South Division Final 4-2.
Landon Quinney notched 2 goals and 1 assist, Logan Timmons added 2 goals, Brent Broaders scored once and added 3 assists, Cade Neilson contributed one of each, and Matt Barron scored once, while Andrew Martell had 2 helpers and Noah McMullin, Connor Peveril, and Derrick Johnson added one assist each.
Tyler Caseley made 20 saves for the win.
The Mariners will now wait to find out who they will face for the league championship.
The Summerside Western Capitals are in Campbellton Wednesday night for game 6 of the Best-of-7 Eastlink North Division Final with the Tigers up 3-2.
