The Island Traps Schooners had a great weekend on home field.
On Saturday in Clark’s Harbour, the Schooners swept the Pictou County Royals with 3-2 and 6-0 wins.
Then on Canada Day with first place on the line, the Schooners scored two walk-off victories over the Windsor Knights.
In Game 1, the Schooners rallied with two runs in the final inning to win 6-5, and in the second game they needed extras to win 3-2.
