The embankment beside the road in Pinkney’s Point has been washing away over the years.
Tides from storm-surge has caused erosion, and a post holding a guardrail is almost completely visible.
Department of Transportation spokesperson Brian Taylor says a long-term plan is being worked on.
He says stabilization measures will be put in place this summer.
“The wet weather and the thaw can make access to some of these roads difficult for our crews, The measures most likely will be stacking up armour stone of various sizes to combat the erosion.”
Last month, Municipal Councillor Daniel Allen said this is an important issue for residents of Pinkney’s Point.
Taylor says they have been waiting for the weather to improve, as the spring thaw would have made work difficult for road crews.
