Every year, Nova Scotians are injured in motorcycle collisions.
The RCMP wants to make sure that drivers and their passenger wear a CSA approved helmet.
They also says properly maintaining your bike is important.
Constable Chad Morrison of the Traffic Services Division says all that can help protect you from the potentially serious and fatal consequences of a collision.
“If your helmet does not comply with safety standards, we advise you replace it.”
For details you can go online to Canadian Standards Association safety standards and search for your helmet in their product listing.
