RCMP say a single-vehicle collision claimed the life of a 64-year-old woman from Pubnico.
Police say the accident occurred around 7:34 a.m. on Highway 103 and the woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
Police are on scene at this time and have called an RCMP Collision Analyst to assist with the investigation.
Hwy. 103 is closed between Exits 27 and 28 at this time and is expected to re-open by mid-afternoon.
