Environment Canada’s Special weather statement says a low pressure system approaching from the Great Lakes will spread rain into Nova Scotia beginning tonight through Wednesday, and finally ending before Thursday afternoon.
There is chance of rainfall amounts reaching or exceeding rainfall warning levels of 50 mm in 24 hours, mainly for western mainland Nova Scotia and along the Atlantic Coast of the eastern mainland.
At this point there is uncertainty regarding amounts and the areas most likely to be impacted.
