A longtime businessman will carry the Progressive Conservative flag in Yarmouth.
Mitch Bonnar is President of Tri-Star Charters and co-owned Tri-Star Industries for 27 years.
He is also President of the Yarmouth Regional Arts Council.
Bonnar has also volunteered with Yarmouth RibFest, minor hockey and other community projects.
He says the economy needs to grow so jobs can be created and investments can be made in health-care and education.
Bonnar will challenge current Liberal MLA Zach Churchill and NDP candidate David Ollie.
Bonnar says the McNeil Liberals are taking Nova Scotia in the wrong direction and it’s time for a change.
