RCMP divers have recovered a body from a lake in Digby County.
Corporal Jennifer Clarke says an underwater recovery team located the body around 11 a.m. today in Barrio Lake.
She says they cannot determine if the body is that of a man who fell overboard from a canoe on the weekend.
“I can’t confirm the gender or anything else about the individual that was found in Barrio Lake. The identification is going to carried out by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service
Last Saturday RCMP divers began a search after two men fell into the water.
Only one was rescued.
